Rotary SPO12 finally installed and functional.

Finally gotten a little use out of this thing...one truck, a mower and a go-kart...pardon the kids, if they are awake and I'm in the shop that's where they have to be, wouldn't have it any other way. This thing is versatile I'll give it that. Those 3 stage arms and adjustable pads will pick up...

Rotary SPO12 finally installed and functional.

Sorry for delay on pictures, crazy times on the home front. Haven't even been in the barn short of pulling a truck in and out on my way to or from some chaos. Anyways, right at 30" collapsed and 60" extended. All 4 arms are the same.

Rotary SPO12 finally installed and functional.

I sure can. Late night tonight, will try to measure tomorrow. Don't be afraid to poke me and remind me, busy, chaotic times right now.

    My HD40 application experience.

I did a fair bit of reading before going with the HD40...honestly reality contradicted alot of what i read. short of the resistance to higher viscosity petroleum oils soaking through I don't see any advantage to the HD40. Rust penetrant, hydraulic fluid, coolant, solvent, any colored water based...

Rotary SPO12 finally installed and functional.

$6500-7000 + install. Most places quoted me between $500-750 install. Got small discount by ordering 2 through my work from Meyer tire supply since they needed one as well.

I thought I uploaded a couple pics...apparently I did not. Heres a couple, will add some of it in action this evening.

Rotary SPO12 finally installed and functional.

I finally got my lift installed that was purchased almost 2 months ago. After much debate, price shopping, procrastination and using one everyday at work, I opted to spend the extra on a Rotary SPO12. Though 12000lbs is probably over kill, I decided I'd rather have a bigger lift that can still...

    My HD40 application experience.

Brief update as its been awhile since doing so on this thread. Temp are working their way up, but not enough to put down the cherry wax sample I was sent. Haven't used the barn much as I don't have heat yet but starting to get out there on nicer days. Did a brake line job the other day and found...

    My HD40 application experience.

Just a brief update. I've gotten a sample of cherry wax to try out. I don't know if the temps are going to cooperate for trying it out here soon but I'll update when I do with how that works out.

    My HD40 application experience.

I doubt that. It was more like dried product that had cured on the lid or sides in storage and worked it's way loose and into the mix in shipping/stirring. Not enough to say it was any vital portion of the HD40, just enough to play hell with clogging up my sprayer nozzle.

    My HD40 application experience.

I'm content overall. The product came out plenty glossy for my liking. Durability will be determined over time. This is not intended to knock the HD40 or Legacy in any way. It just seems there is a bit lacking in regard to what to expect from the HD40 in real world DIY scenarios so I figured I...

    My HD40 application experience.

It was a burnisher, tricky to find I agree, but definately a burnisher. Motor was offset and ran Closer to 1000rpm than 2000 though. As stated before, it's pretty glossy...just didn't look any different between burnishing and not burnishing. I even tried holding the thing in one spot for awhile...

I tried to send you a PM...either you got it 3 times or not all, the website or my phone was being finicky. Please let know if you received or not. Thanks.

    My HD40 application experience.

Damn it...I had a full post typed and lost it...anyways, long of it short is this: -stays glossy, even after just spraying and spreading -last pic floor is dry, half burnished, half not...I can see no difference after burnishing, only feel slight difference when walking on it. -it's not to...

    My HD40 application experience.

Finally got around to treating the floor in my new 40x60. After a boat load of reading and debating I decided on Legacy HD40 and wanted to give my thoughts on the product, install and results. I did this all myself with exception to my brother in law running the pump up sprayer, and this is my...

Finally up and usable 40x60 in Southwest Ohio

Getting the HD40 down today. Mopped last night and got things moved out this morning and picked up floor burnisher. My brother in law came up to help which made pretry quick work of it once we got a system down. I'll be honest, we had some issues at first. There were a lot of flakes of dried...

Finally up and usable 40x60 in Southwest Ohio

The planned interior ceiling height was 13'6"...I ended up with 13'10"...with an inch thicker than planned slab??? It worked out perfect because the 12k lb 2 post lifts I'm looking to put in are 13'8" so I'll take it. Anyways, the 2 doors in front are 14' wide x 12'tall. All steel insulated. The...

Anyone have input on Revolution RTP 12 lift from experience?

Good afternoon all. With my concrete just about cured I'm now looking into a lift for my new shop/toybox. I've got plenty of concrete and ceiling height for a 12k lb. lift and I'm leaning that way. I like rotary, I've used them professionally for many years, but I don't like the price tag for a...

Finally up and usable 40x60 in Southwest Ohio

Thank you all. It's been a long wait and alot of work. Hopefully get the lift in before end of the year and get going on the wiring, ceiling and rest of the lighting...but I still have a master bathroom to finish so I doubt the queen of the castle will let me out there much till that's done...

Finally up and usable 40x60 in Southwest Ohio

Never got time to do a build thread, but did have a few questions posted at the begining and wanted to show the end results. There is much work to do yet, but it's closed in with a heavy duty floor, water, drainage and electricity roughed in so there will be many updated to come as finishing out...
