This is a couple years old but a favorite of my garage.

CMU block has good thermal mass.Once its warm inside the building,itshould stay warm,and stay cool once cooled.

I had small drawer organizers spread everywhere and some were so high that ! could not see in them without a step stool. So, on the blank wall left of the workbench I added this shelving unit. It, along with all my shelves and benches were made entirely from scrap construction site materials.
