did you ask for the lighter gauge (think its called liner) metal. Thats a metal that made for interior use. its about a 1/3 cheaper than the exterior rated. buy or rent a drywall lift whichever way you decide.

a couple people have suggested cutting off the slab which definitely would work but you may be ok just taking a concrete saw and cutting a drain slot right next to the base. A slot should break up the wicking action and with caulk may do the job.

i would look into a piece of the gas flex tube to run from the shutoff to the generator. those small gensets do vibrate a bit.

You could also add a window in the interior wall and use a box fan to circulate conditioned Air to both half's. I guess you went with one of the btu guide charts so I would just go a little oversize on what's recommended. Knocking that humidity down will be great for working condition. Sent...

one of the brands lowes sells is the same color all the way through and is available without the groove in the edge. It also is flat on both sides. I would rather sit on top of the small ribs and have a nice even 1/4"bead of caulk all around my block than those groves in the back.

mini split is the way to go in SC ,If you need heat you dang sure want AC too. Ebay and amazon have some reasonably priced ones.

I have a 12' 2 axel and it will pull upwards on the hitch when raised. Really noticable when hooked to my tractors 3 point hitch. There's no down pressure on a 3ph.

man/service/entry doors are ok with 4x4 . I would use the same post for a large opening such as a garage door as you wall posts.

I would take matt m's advice since he actually moved his opener. My concern would be that the door will be an issue if you ever need to open it with a car in the air. I'm thinking your going to need to modify your tracks so the door goes vertically higher before making the turn to horizontal...

For those who say just use a hose. If you run pipe the pipe acts a a cooler then when you have a water separator at the end of your pipe it will actually remove some water. Air Straight out of hot compressor thru a hose laying on a cold floor will always deliver moisture. Sent from my...
