Seems like half of this thread is talking about the lid so i will continue with that. The only mod i did to mine was remove the lid and add a tray across the back for spray cans.

cool thread , I have tons of indestro scattered thru my tools. Worked for a autoparts jobber for 15 years and that was our line of tools we sold. That tool board a couple posts back really brought back some memories, when someone walked up to our counter that was what they saw.

any moisture in the connections will trip them, spray them with wd 40 (the wd stands for water displacement)

better make it simple because if its not when the wife goes to the freezer you'll hear about it . No cover on mine for just that reason but there is some random items sitting on top of it that i hear about from time to time.

Bought my lift in the De. store happy with the product and the store personnel.

Your going to have to do some excavation anyhow so why not take out the extra now .
