used one of the HF mats in front of my bench in my new garage and it when I went to move it after a couple of months it was stuck to the floor. after I pulled it up it left half stuck to the floor!

I first spray the bead with Dawn dish washing solution and let it soak into the bead. you will be surprised at how this helps.

As others have said: they are garbage. I bought the 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 and they all went in the trash after I stripped out some head bolts with the 1/2"

When I built my 30x60 garage last year I thought the 150ft walk to the house would not be a big deal. Well, it is. As I get older I go more often and the walk back to the house is getting real old!

I have a new Greenfield set that is good. I have also picked up some at a used machinery dealer where I live. They sell them, cutters, drill etc by the pound. Got some Hansons, Bay state that are very good. We had some of the ENCO ones at my shop and they cut ok but if you measure the threads...

I got the floor pans installed in my 55 Dodge power wagon. Finished the installation of the electric fuel pump and wiring. Hopefully test it tomorrow.

I have been using Rustoleum Professional Enamel. I just bought another gallon at Home Depot for $55.00. On flat surface's I roll on. Even with a brush it levels out nicely.

lot of great ideas. just make sure you always have a handle on a file. I have seen some nasty accidents over the years from guys in too much of a hurry to put a handle on the file when filing on a lathe or even hand filing.:sad:
