    New toolbox must haves

I think I'm gonna sell my macsimizer and get another macsimizer that's newer with 2 full length top drawers. My fiancée is a little iffy about it but if we can spend 15k on a fake body I can spend 4500 on a used toolbox haha

    New toolbox must haves

Oh yea 100%. I was visiting my friends shop and he build a caged storage area to store high dollar items in in case of break ins and whatnot. Security cameras are great but I'd rather not loose my stuff and try to get insurance money than just find a way to lock it up. They wheel ac machines...

    New toolbox must haves

Milwaukee are way to shallow I'd need two of them for my one box.

Well they also don't have A/C so I wouldn't copy anything they do.

    New toolbox must haves

I have a krl1056 and KRL751 which is 36" x 30" x deep x like 72" tall. And next to it I have a 55" macsimizer which is like 27" deep. But only has one long drawer.

I don't keep those cases I throw them out. Or if it's a kit they go in a 2 door cabinet

    New toolbox must haves

I have two older boxes. One really old macsimizer from the 90s and a tall narrow KRL from the early 2000s. One thing I would love is at least two long top drawers and a power strip. I don't like splitting up my wrench drawer. I'm not big into side lockers or hutches but some guys really want...

Another merger: Makita buys Panasonic’s Power Tools division.

Those 15.6v drills were the best at one time.

Outer Tie Rod Socket? Anyone ever use one?

Where did you buy such small pipe wrenches? Were they salesman demos ?

Giant air compressor Info, Saylor Beall?

Best not to disturb the valves. Roll it over by hand if everything feels good just run it.

    Show your new tool arrivals

    It's 18" I believe. For 1/2" flex head I have a 27" cornwell. I don't have anything smaller. I have fixed head 18 and 15" ratchets in 1/2". But I found a situation a flex head 18ish would've been perfect.

For some reason I don't have a 1/2" flex head this long. After 2 decades of turning wrenches. So I picked up a facom in proto flavor.

    A little air compressor project

So originally I was going to ask work if I could take an early 2000's Atlas Copco GA5 that's been sitting in the back for 8 years untouched for my garage. It's a 200v machine and missing a cover so it's never going to be a loaner unless there was one customer that needed a 7.5hp and had sagging...

    Compressed Air System Design

Ah yea I get it. That's good planning. So I would just get the biggest HP your circuit can handle. Like I said if you can get a good deal on a constant run pump option pump go for it especially with blasting. Your starter and motor caps takes the biggest hit starting all the time. The pump...

    Compressed Air System Design

This is a very long winded reply of just saying split your demand between two units. It's very common. Also The rolair is junk. I'd never recommend it unless it was free.

Making a refrigerated compressed air dryer-crazy thoughts?

Desiccant dryers are super inefficient and we only sell them in places they need air dryer than freezing. Ie a compressor room sends air outside to another building in the winter. The dewpoint of 35f on a refer dryer won't get the water out and the pipe outside at 15f will condense the water out...
