    Work Table Question

All, I bought two of these tables off Craigslist. They are 3x8 ft with 3/4 in plywood tops. I also bought some 10 gauge metal sheets to cover the tables. The question I have is there is a slight bow to the metal sheets. Is there any way to take the bow out? I thought of placing the sheets...

Skid Steer - $15k budget - what to buy

I had a Kubota 4wd 32hp L3000 with FEL. I never used it for bush hogging or any ground engaging implements, just the loader for picking up rocks (S. Texas). I sold it and bought a Bobcat S175 with 1400 hrs. I paid 16k. The bobcat is tougher, stronger and the ideal loader machine. With a...

Howdy from the great state of Texas, Had a metal building built on slab this summer. Just got it wired this week so doing some cleanup. I noticed some of the bolts that bolt the red iron down to the slab are loose. From the slab curing? Parts "getting to know each other"? I assume I should...

    Feeder size

Thanks, to all. I'm a mile wide and an inch deep when it comes to electrical. I should have put a larger (metal) sweep in the slab for sure. At the meter, I have 2 200A panels (one for the house and one for the barn). I have yet to do the trench. I will have to rent a rock saw as it is solid...

    Feeder size

Sorry, yes there is a disconnect. Also, I may have messed up in that I poured 2 2" PVC sweeps into the corner of my slab for the feeder. If I have to have larger than 250MCM, can I put say two conductors in each 2" conduit or do they have a sheathing around them? My loads are Air compressor...

Thanks, Platonic. I think I will skip the dimming and just have 3 circuits. Probably good enough.

    Lighting my 40x50x16

Thanks for the replies. Platonic, point well taken regarding th shadows. I guess I'm a little confused by the data. The James 165W being sold today by http://www.ledlightingwholesaleinc.com/James-High-Bay-2-Foot-165-Watt-p/zy-h5-165w.htm say it puts out 24,563 lumens. I called them and they...

    Lighting my 40x50x16

So been reading here a lot. Trying to get up to speed on lighting. I am looking at the 2 ft James Industries 165 W LED High Bay: https://www.getjl.com/magic-high-bay. I want it bright in there so to reach 100 fc takes 12 of the 2ft 24,563 lumen 165w fixtures or 16 of the James 2 ft 16,400...

Floor coating that will hold up to a skid steer

Is there a sealer that would at least keep oil and other stuff from soaking in that would hold up to the skid steer?

Floor coating that will hold up to a skid steer

Building a 40x50 mueller in S Texas. Just poured the slab last week with a smooth finish. Question is: Will anything stand up to my S175 Bobcat? I don't plan to do donuts in there but I would like to park it in there. What type of coating would work? Sealer ? Epoxy? Thanks!

Can anyone recommend a concrete guy in South Texas?

Thanks. Do you mind if I ask how much a foot for the slab?

Can anyone recommend a concrete guy in South Texas?

Looking for someone with experience doing metal building slabs and or erecting metal buildings in the San Antonio area. Thanks!

    Building/Slab cost

$6 would be awesome. The Mueller people around Dallas told me that was the going rate there. I've had some bids at $9 here in the san antonio area but that's way too high.

    Building/Slab cost

Would you happen to know the name of the guy your family friends used for their job or any other people in the 5.50-7.50 range? Thanks!

    Building/Slab cost

Any comments on the cost of the building? Does it seem reasonable?

    Building/Slab cost

That would work. You're in TX, too. $9 is just too high for such a simple job.
