    B & D drill press

Not sure - Part of me likes the Patina and part of me wants to restore it. This is perfect for me because I don't use a drill press more than ten times a year and it's an awesome conversation piece.

Recently picked this up for $30.00. The man that had it was dying, he told me this was his grandfathers drill press. Still works magnificently, low RPM. print screen upload photos

Again - Time will tell, a refrigerant system is a refrigerant system.

MRCOOL DIY Mini Split, Seriously, I Think...

Not worth the risk, especially when it's unnecessary - convenience is as poor an excuse as is just being cheap. Trapped air turns to moisture...any trapped air. It is not a deep vacuum, there's a valid reason why triple vac's are advised.

MRCOOL DIY Mini Split, Seriously, I Think...

I realize some don't understand, when you make that connection, there is air trapped...I realize many dont think its much, but what it is not is a loop in a deep vacuum. There's actually a valid reason why techs spend the 2 -4- 6 hours or overnight making sure the loop is at less than 500...

MRCOOL DIY Mini Split, Seriously, I Think...

I'm not saying anyone here has the worst...I am saying that these do it yourself set ups have not been around long enough to know how they will perform long term. AND I am saying many systems have been installed over the years without the proper installation and they work fine at first...

    Some simple mini-split installation questions

There is no reason to use a sleeve unless you are exceptionally ****. Cut the hole, route the pipes, make sure the drain is not pinched and has fall. Fill the hole from the outside with steel wool and seal outside with duct sealant. Install cover.

Great deal. At least they are disposable. The worst installation works good for the first few years...best of luck to you when you have the first failure.

Are you wanting the line set and drain in the wall? That is a more extensive install... higher cost. The electrical is ONLY provided to the outdoor unit, the indoor is powered from the outdoor unit, part of the "line set" bundle.

What are they supposed to mount it on if the wall is not got gypsum on it? They are designed to be installed on a finished wall...there is rarely a good reason to "rough" one in...and that creates additional job trips. Electrical could be open in another stud bay. Routing the piping in the...

That first quote, if it is a 16 SEER model is spot on. Nobody is attempting to "hit a Grand Slam". The exceptionally high bid was the SEER the same? Probably not. Sometimes when bidding you get a nagging feeling the only way this person is going to remain pleased is if the unit is top of line...

Check the manufacturers specs. Most of today's rectifying ignition systems will not operate on a GFCI circuit.

Youth is wasted on the young. I did not say that some products of the industrial revolution have not affected the planet...I am saying I am not convinced man has caused global warming...or that there even is any real global warming going on. I've lived long enough to recall the fear mongering...
