High current (1A and 5A) incandescent automotive test light

A standard 9004 headlight bulb uses ~5a on high and ~3.5a on low.

High current (1A and 5A) incandescent automotive test light

You can use something like a load box: https://www.joesautoelectric.net/store/p57/%22Load_It%22_Variable_Load_Test_Units.html#/ Or just a headlight or fog light.

First Experience with Vim Tools Ends in Dissappointment

Toyota. They also said BMW is #5 and Nissan is #6. Both more reliable than Acura. Any mechanic on the job more than a week will quickly point out that fallacy. You have to read the fine print: "Of course, this is only a prediction, and these scores are not a guarantee of the reliability of...

If only the wheel bearings and ball joints lasted as long as the plugs do.

Which moisture meter do I want?

Hi all, I've decided its time for a moisture meter. Usage will be general around the house type stuff--wood, concrete, etc. Nothing critical or earth shattering. More of a trend monitoring type thing. I've searched and read the previous threads, but there weren't many conclusions drawn...

Insanely bad customer service experience from Matco

Wonder if they rebranded their return policy too.

    Amazon hand tool recommendations

If my main criteria was cheap, I'd just wait until Harbor Freight had a sale on what I wanted. You'll be able to see and possibly even fondle said tool before purchasing, something you can't do online. At less than $2 a wrench with a lifetime warranty, you don't have much to lose.

    Long/Low Profile needle nose pliers

Who hasn't? :ROFLMAO: I have two of them and I don't have anything to complain about--theyre pretty simple devices. When I bought forceps a while back, it seemed like 99% of them were made in Pakistan too.

The dirty tool secret they don't want you to know.

I just watched Eric from South Main Auto diagnose and repair multiple electrical issues on an old Buick. Would have been pretty difficult to do that more efficiently with an article.

Who's upset? I don't like mint ice cream. Does that make me upset? No, I just order rocky road.

The dirty tool secret they don't want you to know.

Plenty of choice, as I indicated in my post above--three clicks and that one's gone. There are still hundreds of thousands of actual humans producing watch-worthy content on YouTube. AI has some uses, but creativity isn't one of them. Thinking about what entertains the average person, I guess...

The dirty tool secret they don't want you to know.

If a human wants to show something interesting, or demonstrate how to do something, I'll probably watch. Some clown entering prompts into a computer to have it spit out some visual and audio slop it scraped from other peoples' work and cobbled together? Not worth my time. If you like your AI...

Did snap on make blue hardhandles

If you have a good dealer, they can talk with other dealers and probably find one that has one laying around. Handle color choice will be limited. There's a dealer-only snap on Facebook group mine belongs to and he's found some pretty off the wall stuff for me that way.

The dirty tool secret they don't want you to know.

I go a step further--if I get the slightest hint of AI being involved, I hit the back button, then the three dots, and click "Don't recommend channel".

    Long/Low Profile needle nose pliers

I use a Mantus: https://ipatools.com/product/8100-14-large-mantus-tight-access-tool/ That's the manufacturer's site. You can find them cheaper elsewhere. They're giant (14" long) tweezers with pointy little teeth on the end.

The only thing I learned from this thread is bing still exists. Huh, wouldn't have guessed.

I used mine today to remove the (surprisingly small) stuck fuel line off the ****** of a Chonda carburetor. They also work great on o-rings on cartridge type oil filter housings.

Sorry, I didn't think to take any. I was putting the snow throwers away for the year and gave them their end-of-season once-over. I knew the 1992 Toro CCR Powerlite had a small crack in the housing when I removed the scraper bar to replace it last time, years ago. Replacing it again today I...
