I think Google SketchUp is pretty popular around here.

    Ratchet organization lets see them.

I don't have nearly as many in one toolbox as the folks above but, I was starting to organize a bit last night. Here's how far I got: (Click for bigger) Still need to cut holes for a couple of odd and ends (breaker bars, slide-bars/t-handles, etc)

Socket Storage. Can I see some ideas?

For similar reasons, I'm using the Harbor Freight ones because they were cheap and I easy to relabel to fit the sizes I wanted. I also happily cut them up to connect them together or whatever else I needed. Click for bigger:

    Riding jacket storage?

I've been toying with buying something like the Husky 36 in. x 72 in. Welded Floor Combo Cabinet (~$299) to free up one of the hallway closests in the house I'm using now. I'm hoping htat it'll comfortably hold all my street riding gear and maybe most of the dirt stuff. If your riding jacket...

Would you swap to a smaller air Compressor?

Rats! They make a ~5 CFM/2HP/70dB model for about $250. :) Not that I'm really in the market - A quieter A/C is on my wish list but, it's pretty far down.

Would you swap to a smaller air Compressor?

I also have a 33 gallon extremely loud oil-less craftsman compressor (6.4 SCFM @ 90 psi) and have been debating going to a much quieter belt driven setup. I bought back when I was using air tools alot and I had the space for an outdoor enclosure so, that I didn't really have to listen to it...

HF - Adjustable Steel Welding Table

It's just a bolt with a yellow plastic handle so that you can tighten it by hand. You can weld a short piece of bar stock to the head of the bolt or buy something like this from your local hardware store (in the right size):

How do you store bungee cords?

I dump 'em in gallon-size zip lock bags, labeled and sorted by size.

HF - Adjustable Steel Welding Table

Finally gave mine a try this weekend. It sure beats the hell out of welding on the ground and being able to clamp my work easier was a treat. It's easily worth the 50-odd bucks. I have some long-term concerns with the plastic adjuster handles but, they're easily replaced/upgraded if they ever...

    Garage Lift/Portable Fishhouse Storage

There's a thread here on something similar, in terms of rigging, that you might find interesting: A DIY 4 Post Storage Lift You could also buy something like this for $250 and mount it to your platform instead of a motorcycle: http://www.langeoriginals.com/hoistabike

HF - Adjustable Steel Welding Table

FWIW, they had one on display at my semi-local HF. It looked like it was worth taking home and giving it a try. ...but, you had to find an employee to bring one out to you if you wanted to purchase it and that seemed unlikely to happen at the time. So, I bought one online when I got home with a...

    Show us your portable toolbox!

So pretty! I love it. The only thing I might add is a small/foot pump for fine tuning tire pressure.

    Looking for a portable toolbox

Just an update, I'm not entirely satisfied with it yet but, the track toolbox got a mild rearrangement as well as new side handles to make it easier to lift/move around and let's it be a weight for the canopy. I was able to condense 3 drawers into 2 by double layering the foam so, that I could...

    High quality telescoping ratchet?

FWIW, the Husky/Stanley version had a review here at http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=95809 I've had the 3/8" version for a few years now. It hasn't gotten alot of use but, I don't have any complaints.

    Remoto controlled locks available?

I don't have any first hand experience but, Amazon.com has several remote control dead bolt door locks for $90 and up. Many of those do have keypads but, I see at least three that are key or remote control only. Shouldn't take much more than a screwdriver to install (assuming the door already...

Add handle to side of portable box?

I got some 4" Stainless Handles from Amazon.com for ~$8 and slapped 'em on this weekend: They make it soooo much easier to move the toolbox around! For the double-walled part, I tried drilling all the way through but I didn't like how flimsy the inner wall felt. There is a gap between the...

    Jack Stand Storage

I store four on a lame little cart I knocked up out of some scrap wood and old casters. 2 on top and 2 on the bottom. Then I just roll it out of the way into it's storage/parking spot.
