    Recumbents.

I really like the one with the doggy on it, I built all my trikes out of old frames. I remember i wouldn't even remove the paint before Oxy welding the frames. I was young then. Here's a vid of the child's trike, the person riding it is a little too big for it.

    Fiber Internet to House

The company I work for sells 250x250 Mbs for $60 a month but goes up to $85 after a year. Our Gig service which is 1000x1000 is 85 a month and goes up to $95 after a year. Both have free installation.

Reccomened me a Good TIG Welder

This one, you don't have to upgrade the ground clamp, pedal and tourch like on blue and red and it's still made in the USA. It's also nice because the fan only runs when it's needed so on small welds it nice and quiet. https://weldmongerstore.com/products/ckworldwide-mt200-ac-dc-tig-welding-system

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

It's 1/2 inch and I got it a couple years ago for $200. The tubing was $300 Monday.

Mr. Cool heating strategy for garage.

Our attached garage does have to sides, one is the original garage which is 26x26' and has 8 foot ceilings. The new addition is 30x26x9' and has living space above it. I do have a curtain/tarp that I pull between the two but the only time I've done it is when we had a couple weeks of 3 digit...

Mr. Cool heating strategy for garage.

It's 6 and 1/2 inches from the ceiling. I also have Mitsubishi, it and the Mr Cool when the vanes are on auto are aimed down in heat mode and when on cool they're aimed straight out so the heat mode may not be as efficient that close to your cabinets.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Monday I bought 40 feet (two 20 footers) of 2x2x1/8th inch square tubing. This afternoon I almost finished my new welding table. This 4x4' table weighs 450 pounds.

Mr. Cool heating strategy for garage.

I also installed a Mr Cool (24000 BTU) unit last summer. Found out when I went to heat that 62 was the lowest temp. Our 26x56' garage is attached so it's pretty easy to heat. The lowest temp I've ever seen was 47 degrees at sub zero temps outside. I'm leaving it run 24/7 at 62 and it's...

    The DeWalt Addiction Thread

I bought my Swag table from Amazon, I also made some modifications to the porta-band so it would cut straighter when on the Swag table. The table and saw are really handy but now I wish I'd bought one of these. https://www.grizzly.com/products/grizzly-5-portable-metal-cutting-bandsaw/g0885...

Show off your sheet metal fab projects

I don't think I've ever seen this thread. I don't really have any sheet metal working tools, don't even have a brake but I enjoy doing sheet metal projects.

Swing out carriage style garage doors??

I made my own but it was a 6x8' opening for a shed. I have a bunch of 1x2" channel iron which makes up the frames.

Thinking of getting a new, quieter air compressor for the garage. Replace this 20 year old Craftsman

It has a bunch of vents on the back side, I also added a soffit vent to the front down low so I could take it off and drain the tank. It ran for years, in fact it's still there but I only use my new compressor.

Thinking of getting a new, quieter air compressor for the garage. Replace this 20 year old Craftsman

When I had one of those loud compressors I put it outside in a box. The problem these days is the lumber to make the box may cost more than a new small compressor.

    Garage/Paint Booth Exhaust Opinions

You want the incoming air to be filtered, if the winds blowing right the dust will come right back into your garage. If you use clear coat it could stick to ever thing in your garage. I have a temp paint booth I put up when I spray my cars and because of the 6 mil plastic I use it has a...

Concrete is coming but so is the cold

I had a 30x26 pad poured and it was getting down to 26 every night. There was no building around it, I covered it with a tarp at night until it got to 40 degrees the next day and the pad came out great.

What Temperature is your Garage in the Winter?

Our 26x56' attached garage never gets below 47 degrees with 5 degree temps outside but this is the first year we'll have a Mr Cool mini split. I plan on keeping it at 55 degrees. If I'm not doing any physical work I'll run it up to 60.

    Cleaning aluminum

I'm guessing what you're seeing is what ever is on the aluminum to protect is what's failed. As soon as aluminum is exposed to oxygen it begins to oxidize. I would sand all parts with a maroon scotchbrite pad until it shines, then maybe a grey pad. Whatever you do you'll need to clear coat...
