The eastern part of Montana is very,very flat. The western 1/3 or so is all rocky mountains. If ever you get the chance, and you like the outdoors, go to Glacier National Park in NW Montana. Some of the most spectacular scenes you will ever see can be found there-the grizzlies are cool too.
