Wire welder what are you using

And if you learn the PN junction, you'll understand why inverter based welders are superior in every way that really matters.

    Welding torch fuel question

They are full of ****, fuel gas is fuel gas, I've swapped between oxy/acetylene and propane lots of times. Can't imagine propylene would be any different. You are supposed to use a type-T hose for propane, but in actual practice the cutting tips are the only thing you have to change.

I bought 4 rolls then, couldn't believe they were ever that cheap, but yeah, it'll be a couple of years before I need more.

    Let's see your toolbox.

What's something like that setting you back these days? I'm fully retired now and haven't priced one since 2019. I shudder to think what inflation did to them the past couple of years.

Specifically, inside the legs of my 4 post lift adjusting the tension on the leaf chains. Needed an 1 1/8 socket on a nylock nut. Saved my ****.

If I haven't set a target pressure, should the inflator keep running when I hit the start button like the M12, mine will only run as long as I am pressing the start button if I haven't set a target pressure.

That's all I have left also. I saw an electronic kit for my MF135 in the Steiner catalog the other day, thinking about just getting one and officially retiring the dwell meter all together.

Loose or destroy one socket, what do you do.......................

My SnapOn dealer either exchanges it and says "sorry about that", or he says "damn, you lost another one?" and sells me a replacement.

    Automotive wire repair strategies

General Dynamics originally soldered the harnesses in the F16 until a few pilots bought the farm due to electrical gremlins. It was (proper) crimp connections after that.

As near as I can tell, they rate the packaging not the actual item. I completely gave up on items that are supposed to be X10 or X25 or whatever multiples of items. 90% of the time you receive one item. I did however, score a Drill America set of cobalt S&D drills from 1/2" to 1" in 64th...

I've never run (my own) air tools without one if SnapOn had one available. They kept the aluminum housings from getting beat to snot, and on the air ratchet in particular, the boot was the actual reason the SnapOn kept working for months at a time between being disassembled and cleaned/relubed...

That may work in a jug for storage, but it doesn't do a thing for any corn squeezins left in the machine.
