Another vehicle falls of a lift

The Elise manual says not to raise it on a 4 point lift. Someone didn't notice that. I wonder if a symmetrical lift would have stopped that?

EpoArmor from JNK - any experiences?

Not exactly cheap, is it? The more I look the more I am beginning to subscribe to the theory of using a cheaper floor paint and just touch it up occassionally.

    Clear Epoxy Sealer

I'm down in Austin multiple times a year. You are saying use this Urethane instead of an epoxy sealer? Or use a sealer and then top coat with the Urethane? I've used urethane on interior floors after staining to good effect, I was just worried about tire lift. Sharkskin or equivalent in the...

Clear epoxy over VCT or just polish?

Did you ever apply the clear epoxy? What brand did you use? I want to stain my concrete and then clear coat it but with all the tales of the epoxy lifting I want to be sure I use the right product.

    Installing Bend Pak HD-9 - 4 Post

Now back to the 2 post vs. 4 post issue. Now that you have it up and have used it how much in the way are the ramps? I will never use mine to park a car but I do appreciate the quickness of just driving on and lifting plus the mobility factor. I poured my floor thick enough to mount the 2...

    Clear Epoxy Sealer

Have any of you guys had any experience with a clear epoxy sealer? With so many of the epoxy floor paints lifting on hot tires I want to be sure I get a brand that's secure. After spending time in a stain/seal and concrete overlay class I have decided to go with a concrete stain for the floor...

    Lift Group Buy

Check with Worth Equipment lifts. I have been talking to them and they would probably be receptive to a group buy. They seem to be very heavy duty and reasonably priced. http://www.worthequipment.com/2postlifts.htm http://www.worthequipment.com/4postlifts.htm

    Direct vent counterflow wall furnaces

I had never heard of the direct vent furnace but it's a nice concept. I just don't like the price. I am mounting a home central heat unit on top of my office in the garage. It's cheap, it's high enough not to worry about gas fumes, and I don't really need to duct it.

    Help venting tankless heater/boiler?

The reason you need the stainless pipe is the heat of the exhaust on the Tankless. I am using the ventless tankless that mounts in the outside wall. They are selling them almost 4/1 just due to this issue.

2 post vs 4 post lifts

The biggest complaints I hear about the 4 post is the double jacking. You have to jack the whole car up then you have to jack up the front or rear to get to the wheels &/or suspension. Anyone found a quick, easy and inexpensive way to do the second jacking? I have my slab poured and am...

    JNKPRODUCTS mat flooring??????????

Holy ****! Did you look at the pricing!?! I can't count high enough to figure out how much it would cost to do my 34' X 50' garage.

Plain white and black tile flooring?

Gas goos up the tile you are putting down on a garage floor? Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. Dang it I liked the idea of floor tiles

How did you prep. floor for VCT tile?

What is this VCT tile? The one pic I saw looked like linoleum squares. My slab has been poured and walls begin next week so I am very interested.
