Some people shouldn't be allowed to have tools.

The oxy-ace at my shop barely works, nozzles and manifold all crappified, you have to set the valves in one exact position for it to work at all. The gauges LEAK the bezels are broken off, any striker left near it will disappear in a day or two. Even the cart it uses is ******. I need a new job!

Some people shouldn't be allowed to have tools.

Yeh what is it with these fools? Had my boss ruin a brand new set of pliers in one sitting, gave it back to me WITHOUT A WORD, so I'm like, screw this you dont ruin my tool and go silent about it, someone shot a man once just for snoring so he says, ehhhhhhh, you can just warranty...

Need strap wrench to fit flywheel

I have a BOA BO13010 and it fits up to 12" diameter objects I keep a fairly big serpentine belt with it for larger. It will accept any type of strap or belt in the 1" wide range.

    rejuvenating rubber/grippy screwdriver handles?

You could try to find the exact size rubber hose for each handle, for a good friction fit I've done that to several of my tools pliers, wrenches and screwdrivers. I find the right hose if it's not good and tight I glue em on / no problems. They have worked out nice.

    rejuvenating rubber/grippy screwdriver handles?

The Williams 8 pc set is a favorite around GJ. Can be had for $40 / $50 bucks. They have identical to the old school Snapon hardhandles.

Anyone use a Rothco military style mechanic tool bag?

Those? Those are sapper bags from what I know, which may not be much. Thought they were used for demolition, anyway I have some and they are very handy for projects, tools, and storing parts.

    Spoon Type Hose Picks

I never felt a need. Seems like they just want to sell more tools. I've removed a few hoses in my time. Twisting them, or getting them to twist before removing in one way or another including a heat gun has worked for me. These utensils might be cool for trim removal as well? Or straightening...

Durable and portable toolbox. (Recommendation please)

Another feature is they are designed to be stackable, the reinforcing contours in the lid add strength and fit into thr bottom of another MM23BK. I weigh 180 and although I wouldn't step on the box for any amount of time it could be done I also had 2 smaller yet full of tools boxes on top of...

Durable and portable toolbox. (Recommendation please)

By the way, the drawers in the Wloo are steel, thus the duct tape. And the drawers lock via the lid.

Durable and portable toolbox. (Recommendation please)

Durable and portable toolbox. (Recommendation please)

I have 2 Waterloo MM23BK boxes in my truck, the top section can hold 1/2" drive deep-well sockets standing longitudinally no problem. Im sure they weigh 75 pounds or more with tools inside and being a plastic box seems to handle it fine. I hate the mesh drawer liner which is popular now so I...

Why are American's tool boxes so big?

Let me clarify: I'm not attacking someone who works flat rate, although we are part of the problem in this industry because we let this system operate. Flat rate only benefits the dealers and owners of garages no matter how much you try to defend the system all you are doing is defending the...
