    which t8 fixtures?

I don't know of any retailer fixture that's going to be dimmable. A T8 4 lamp dimming ballast is about a 40-60 $ adder. That's on the wholesale COST side. I'm a manufacturer's rep for Hubbell Lighting. Look at a Columbia, cooper, lithonia, daybrite, or other name brand. They all have 10% THD...

    Back Feeding With A Generator

Homes built since 1996 have had 4 wire dryer receptacles mandated by the NEC. Therefore they have a neutral included. Some jurisdictions may not have enacted it right then. 50 amps over 10AWG?

Not exactly- 10 gauge IS allowed on a 50 amp breaker for dedicated Welder receptacle.. There are exceptions for overcurrent protection, in respect to welders.. So the word "Never" is a bit misused in your statement.. With that said, any attempt to feed your garage with # 10 on a 50 amp breaker...

    Bought me a welder

Depending on your intended use(s), it's a great machine.. I know a guy with one, he loves it. His work is mostly thinner steel- 12 gauge and some light weight tubing. It works beautifully for him...

    Lighting calculation

Hey guys, I'm the new guy here... I'm in East Texas.. I'm a manufacturer's rep for one of the big 4 Lighting manufacturers.. Been doing it about 22 years ! Someone above touched on it, and I"ll expound just a little bit.. Think of your room as a bucket.. To achieve a certain level of light at...
