$2800.00 bucks for a catalytic converter?

Theres a few aftermarket companies that make direct bolt-in replacements.. I'd say hit up an exhaust shop.. I am sure they can weld in a replacement for a lot less..

    Insulation flamability

Generally insulation is non-flammable.. however certain types of insulations have paper fronts which is flammable. They use fiberglass packing in exhaust pipes and fire places which gets pretty hot.

    Harbor Freight News..

Well.. I purchased my stud welder... Had a chance to play with it and it works great.. BTW I didn't buy it from HF.. Its not worth doing business with them anymore.. Their prices are going up and up for the same quality/item.. I spent 350ish on a Motor Guard Magna 1500.. Made in USA with a 5...

Who works with oxy acetylene at home?

Generally you would want to store it in a vertical position for safety reasons... IMO I would take it apart and clean the torch.. make sure the tip and o-rings are in good shape. Inspect the hoses and make sure they do not leak or have any cracks/damages (they cost 25-50 bucks to replace..)...

    American Chopper toolboxes

Meh.. OCC is a joke.. They all got lazy IMO.. Their whole steps in building a bike is taking fenders and whatnot off a shelf and modifying it. Its a drama show.. gets annoying.. Now they are going at it again.. They both need the TLC network to keep their businesses going. Its sad because there...

Wash bucket on wheels... on a budget..

I've seen these already... the wheels looked cheap and the bucket wouldn't work well on rough surfaces... this would be good on tile and smooth indoor surfaces.. I figure it would be a good idea to connect the dollies together.

Wash bucket on wheels... on a budget..

So I came across this product awhile back called the Sonus Professional Bucket.. http://www.autopia-carcare.com/probucket.html This is a cool invention but the price is a bit high imo at $80 bucks plus shipping.. Two bucket wash method would double the price.. So I looked around for something...

Steel Rim TIGHT!! on Rear Hub. HELP!

loosen the lug nuts and go drifting.. :) J/k.. I read a few post about heating it up but that wouldnt work too well because heat would be soaked fairly even causing everything to expand. However heating just the wheel and then cooling the hub should yeild some results. If you use the oil...

    Another HF cart thread!

Get the red one.. I was going to get the black one but the quality doesnt seem up to par to the red one. I know they are both HF products but the way the metal is bent and put together on the black one seems a bit flimsy. The red car is power coated.. the black one looks like regular paint ( i...

HF vehicle dollies.. good or bad

I have the black wheel dollies from HF and they work ok.. I greased up the caster which improved everything quite a bit. I have had my 72 Camaro on them for the past year and moved it the other day and they worked fine. I havent tried the silver 40 dollar ones which i think are still on sale.

    My Harbor Freight Investment

Good investment choice and collection of tools. I have both imported and domestic products that i abuse which are holding up very well. As to all the haters, go find something else better to do rather then get on here and whine about BS.. (I hope you lose a socket)
