    2014 Garage sale thread!

You're absolutely right. Some people aren't aware of what they have, myself included. They had it priced at $10. I didn't even haggle; except when I asked if they could throw in the New Britain ratchet, and Plomb extension. One caveat, I had to do a little work. They had a bunch of different...

That double ended is pretty cool, though I'd hate to have to use any force on it.

    2014 Garage sale thread!

I hit up a couple places today, right down the road from each other. Results, all USA: SK 3/8 ratchet metric set with spark plug, swivel, and two extensions; a 3/8 flex head New Britain NB-55 ratchet; Plomb 3/8 12" extension, WF-19; Proto 206 wire cutters; a disfigured Plomb 3430 wrench; Wiss...

    GM Goodwrench 3/8 ratchet

I think we have a winner! That lever, and, for the most part, the head, is identical to the GM ratchet. It's a well made ratchet for an economy line; better than most of my RP Craftsman's.

    Issues With Attachments

Any help? I can't seem to get multiple pics to post from the "Manage Attachments" section. It has nothing to do with size of files or pics. I have no problems adding pics in the message, but sometimes I'd rather use the attached pic option. I'm using an iPad, if that makes any difference. I can...

    GM Goodwrench 3/8 ratchet

I have this ratchet. In fact, I have the complete set it came with, missing a couple of things. It's from the early 90's maybe earlier; or at least that's how long I've had it. It was one of my first sets. The ratchet is well made, solid, substantial, comfortable, and rather smooth. Obviously...

Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff!

Re: ~ Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff! Yeah, this box is actually rather well preserved. It looks better in person; even the inside is still intact. Usually the inside "walls" seem to grow legs. Here's a shot. Thanks! Now I know what I'll be looking for at my next sale. I'd...

Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff!

Re: ~ Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff! So, how are the Plvmb ratchets, honestly? Serviceable, or just a good looking piece of steel? Can the inner workings be updated to finer or more teeth? I'd hate to buy a ratchet just for aesthetics. I've always been a form, and function...

Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff!

Re: ~ Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff! So, I recently picked up my first Plomb tool. I've had Proto stuff prior, and still do, but I've never had Plomb. Here's my 3734, 1 1/16" flare nut wrench. It's awesome, and I'm assuming I'll never have a need for it. I'm guessing the prior...
