i agree, going by the lower right illustration i don't think the "heavy red socket" bridge ratchets were painted red, only the sockets for them were. same with what i call standard red socket wrench, top right. the red face ratchet looks to only have the milled face plate painted. i think my...

post drills, as alot of other collectible items the largest and smallest gather the most interest. your post drill looks on small side, not rare as most collectors have 'em already. its auto feed looks farmer repaired and most likely devalues it to $20 (parts). the vise looks modern, if not...

Cleanest looking piece of the pre 1917 treasure? This is why I'm still skeptical its PSCo. timeframe. Still a great piece. thx.

Pennsylvania Steel Co., A 11 Wrench Treasure.

Kinda to clean to me compared to the others we have. You think the head was welded to the handle like others we have? Blacksmiths taking pride in work didn't want any weld seams showing. Company smiths prolly didn't care so much as our treasure indicates. thx.

I'll share I have 2 nos vulcan chain wrenches, the smallest they made new in the box with plain steel handle and orange/red head. The other is the largest (7' long) they made showing a lot shelf wear, bare steel handle with few specks orange in the recessed area of the head. I'll add that I...
