4 post double wide lift question

I can’t speak to the BendPac but in the end, I ended up going with the Wildfire lift. It worked flawlessly. Ended up moving and sold it with the house. At various times I had a ‘70 suburban with a big block, ‘99 Jeep Cherokee, 4 seater CanAm, and a ‘09 Jeep Wrangler. Plenty of deck width and...

    Shop Window Height

This is the second shop I've built. 16' ceilings. I put 7, 4' x 20" up high. the are going to have blinds on them this time though. I like the up high as it doesn't limit my wall space. We really don't have issues with flying insects so we dont have to take screens into account so mine don't open.

Footers and pilings poured. That took them all of an hour, showed up at 6:40a and done by 8a. They came back around 4:30p and put the forms for the stem wall up. Inspection is done, so now we wait for the next pour. I want to be able to wash vehicles in the front. So we talked about stem wall...

What do you wish you had done differently when you built your shop?

I'm in the process of building my shop right now. Some of the things I'm adding/thinking about Outlets at the top of each garage door for a wall mount openers Outlets near each of the 4x20 windows - the bottom of each is at 12' - future proof for blinds possibly Low voltage conduit from a...

    Under Lift light

I used the Amazon tube LED lights with the metal clip on fastener. I then bought some magnets with the 3M VHB adhesive. I put the adhesive side to the lift. My thinking is that would keep them in place. The magnets held the lights in place. Not a perfect solution, but TONS of light. I used...

    Industrial Storage Totes?

I have a BUNCH of the Home Depot, Black and Yellow totes. We were moving, needed boxes and wanted something a bit more substantial, so we picked some up. I stole this idea from my wife, she had taken photos of her shoes and taped them to the front of the shoe boxes. I took this a step further...
