    Putting junk together

Here is a custom ordered two wheel cart I just finished today. The gentleman who polished my concrete floor (see thread about 41 yards of jacked up concrete) needed a special cart to haul his floor grinders up and down stairs. He was in my shop and seen my "Paul Bunyon" cart and gave me a list...

    Putting junk together

High top bar table for a customer. 43" tall using a cam shaft from a 14 ltr Cummins, which had to be shortened by the way. A 14" ring gear, from an unknown source, as the base. 18" diameter top from many sources:D

Interior is coming along! Today we are laying down the decking on the 2nd level. Then decision time on what we are using to side this portion and just exactly what we will use on the inside walls. Blank canvases can be trouble:willy_nil

    Garage concrete floor cracks

Google is your friend. Buying the filler at Lowes or HD will not be your friend here so I would go straight to a supplier of contractor grade filler such as this...

Sick to my stomach, 41 yds of jacked up floor.

Pic is a little dark but here are two of the machines being used. I would go take a pic now but the machines are in use and it's dusty in there. This guy has 5 really nice machines, one is 3 phase so I don't get to see it in action. I'll get a better pic later, it's nice equipment for sure.

The floor is being polished as I type, progress so far. Should look just like the floor at Lowes when he's done.

    Putting junk together

My imagination only starts working once I lay out some "junk" on the table and move it around, when it starts to resemble something I weld it together. Poke around Pinterest searching metal art for inspiration. Your wife will thank you;) And my bearings come from a neighbor who works at a...

City water way out here in the woods, and it now flows inside! Really excited about that too, we have been hauling water for a year and a half in a 55 gallon drum.

Sick to my stomach, 41 yds of jacked up floor.

I hadn't planned on any coating on this floor, hence my stomach issue...simply wasn't in the budget. With that said the budget is being expanded and I know I will be pleased with the floor when all is said and done. I love the look of exposed aggregate with a clear sealer over it! It's that my...

50 Amp RV Outlet vs. 50 Amp Welding Outlet

Or you could do this and be able to have several options. Except run the welder as these are all 120 outlets that are needed. http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/rv-power-cords/rv-cheater-box.htm I have one the adapters which works great, most places, exception being our MI state parks which...

Occasionally we do live in it, right now we are until this build is finished inside. It will have some accommodations such as a bathroom and kitchenette for our business. Summers we spend a lot of time camping in it and more than likely even taking winter time trips now that we will not have to...

Sick to my stomach, 41 yds of jacked up floor.

My 2nd concrete finish specialist just left, should have some numbers for me by the first of the week. Office, kitchenette and shop bathroom will get done first with a grind and clear coat. Will do the shop portion in the spring with just a grind and sealer.
