A few more pieces have been created at Creative Acres. The business card holder is one of my most recent best sellers. Mostly to service writers at Jeep dealerships.

    concrete help

You can use Zip Strips vs saw cuts, only a fine crack will appear after it cures for a while. These fine cracks will be in a perfectly straight line, that is if you place them in that straight line during the pour.

Sick to my stomach, 41 yds of jacked up floor.

I have searched many hours on this internet machine and have looked at many pictures of grind and seal floors. Everyone looks like a good option for my particular case, $9000 worth of styrofoam, tubing, mesh and concrete being busted out is not going to happen. Grind and seal done by...

I have not, have another company coming to give me a quote. They are all telling me it doesn't matter if it's green or fully cured so I should not rush right into it without finding my best contractor for the job.

If it wasn't for those hay bales we have been in a motel room until we can get this build finished. We awoke to a 3 degree morning a few days ago and nothing froze water system wise. We also have a heater in the water compartment that would be useless if the cold were able to circulate...

Diesel Dan, people still occasionally wheel out at the turtle ponds for sure. Not as much as in the past as the west exit trails on the M18 side now come out into a private subdivision. Kids still go out there and do receive tickets from time to time. We have done a pretty good job in educating...

It does appear that way, however the MH is sitting on a concrete pad along with the boiler, only connection. The MH will be moving indoors once the new building is heated, by the same boiler that is currently heating the welding shop. So in other words the MH is just the monkey in the middle...

Progress! We even have the wood boiler going heating the welding shop, wishing it was heating the RV as it's colder than the shop:sad: This coming week we will be having the spray foam in and the steel up on the ceiling then a week delay before the overhead doors get here. Sure wish this...

Sick to my stomach, 41 yds of jacked up floor.

We've explored all options and suggestions made here and have come to the conclusion that we will be hiring a local company to come in and grind the spots we can't live with and blend them into the spots we can. This company charges a minimum $250 for a 2 hour show up, with that said they...

My "friend" is no longer in the concrete pouring business, with the exception that he drives a mixer for the company we bought the mix from here in town. He used to be in the business years ago, although I'm not sure to what extent other than I have parked on his driveway which he did and it's...

Thanks guys, I think we will be trying a diamond grinder on it in the next few weeks. Then some epoxy paint maybe. Can't afford to start over after the initial 9 grand investment. The rest of the building is coming along nicely!

Sick to my stomach, 41 yds of jacked up floor. *now being fixed* Looking for suggestions on what the hell I should do, this is supposed to be our showcase of a shop. The "friend" who "knew" what he was doing let it get away from him and could not keep up with his power trowel and 3/4 of the...

New piece, a seven slot grille made from the guts of an old small block. And a pic of us set up at the Jeep Creep last weekend in Gladwin MI, 425 Jeeps attended. Ironman Offroad booth next to us is the business I sold to a good friend when I went back to full time fab work. If you want the best...
