    Dissapointing shipping from Sears.

That's the level of care I got with my 250 piece set. Sears is becoming harder to deal with all the way around the last few years.

Kobalt 227 piece Mechanics Tool Set for $80

The coupon code doesn't qualify for this item. Or that's what the website is telling me. But certainly a good set. I may get one or two for christmas gifts.

    Snap on box for $600.

http://jackson.craigslist.org/tls/4728492713.html This is the 1st one that was for sale. Apparently it was sold when I got there, but when I called they didn't mention anything about there being 2 different ones. So I saw the larger, older one. bummer...

    Snap on box for $600.

My hands are still greasy from the brake clean that it was soaked in. A few of the drawers were just stuck. Too bad there were so many bent lips on the drawers or I would have been all over a greasy box. With so many projects on the to do list, and that $ I just couldn't do it.

    Snap on box for $600.

Found a local ad on craigslist for a snap on box for $600. There weren't any pictures so I figured I'd ride down there and take a look see. Here she is, I think it's a little too rough for me. https://www.flickr.com/photos/128138998@N02/15431831029/

Craftsman 250pc mechanics tool set and 3 drawer chest $140

Yes, I had the parts list and marked/highlighted what was missing. I called the customer service number (1-800-349-4358)per the letter enclosed with the set. The person whom I talked to told me that I was to send it back to them. If I wanted another, I was to repurchase the item. I'll try the...

Craftsman 250pc mechanics tool set and 3 drawer chest $140

Mine arrived last night and are all made in USA. However, I wish I hadn't bought it. I'm missing sockets, and two of my local sears wouldn't replace them. Then sears customer service tells me I have to buy a 2nd set, then return the first set and wait to be refunded?:shocking: What a junk set...

School me up on this old Mac box...

https://jacksonville.craigslist.org/tls/4656829970.html I'll be in Jacksonville this weekend for a wedding and thought about picking this up. It's got a great look to it and I'm on a binge of putting older shop tools in my shop. Are the parts for this still available such as slides and locks...

    Irwin 5" multi-purpose vise, Lowes

Have you taken a look at the Craftsman Professional Vise? It's red and looks to be very well built. I almost bought one the other night but decided to sleep on it. And yes, keep on the lookout for a Wilton.

Do any of the tool trucks have a good value tool cart?

My step dad runs his own shop and recently got pinned between a car he was working on and his blue point cart. He went out and bought the HF cart (I have one too) and said that the quality on the HF was far better than his blue point. The casters are a much better quality and the steel was a...

    Matt's projects

I think we also need some pictures of that 4runner setup you have. It looks a bit different for sure. I have a soft spot for the 1st and 2nd generation 4runners.

    Proud of my nephew

Re: Proude of my nephew The 44" at HF would probably be his best bet for a box. If you do buy "tools" from HF, make sure you understand the difference in they line of tools they offer. I believe there is a Professional, and those are the ones with a lifetime warranty. If he breaks a...

    Thick handled 1/4 ratchets?

I vote Armstrong. Just got one in from HJE and it's awesome. NAPA carries the Carlyle and it's a cheaper alternative to buying a snappy. Looks like above average quality with lots of teeth and it's not made in China.

Florida Pneumatic buys Air/Nitro Cat brands!

Wow, interesting news indeed. I've read great reviews of the AIRCAT but not too many on the Florida Pneumatic. Sure do hope that this merger improves quality overall rather than drown it. Good luck!

But sir y'all have a much easier access to SPG International. It seems more available to you as opposed to us.

Cannot recommend W7150 after daily use

Don't blame you one bit for wanting to drop IR after that experience. Thank you for sharing your problem here, and I wish you luck on the Milwaukee Fuel. It seems like a great platform that keeps expanding. Here soon I may be selling off my Dewalt 20V's and going for the fuel.

Do I need an 18V fuel?

Do any of you have any experience with the Dewalt 20V? I own some of that line and find them "ok". The grip is great, and I like the LED's that are on most of the line. They place it in a usable position. However, it's a small line. Because of that I'm thinking of switching to the Milwaukee...

    Epstein's Day, July 4, 2014

Just got a call from the guys at HJE. They are just waiting on a Wright wrench to come in hopefully Monday so they can send out my box. It was awesome to get a phone call from someone who spoke in a way that I could understand telling me my order was delayed. I feel like their customer service...
