What is necessary to become a SO dealer?

That doesnt sound right at all. :headscrat If he only allows a 300 dollar balance then you are telling me he wont sell a new customer a nice 1/2 impact gun? And as far as only 2 or 3 guys that dont pay him a year, that number is way low. Im not saying I have a high skip rate, but I know guys...

Wow, I wouldnt expect that in Oregon, my inlaws live in OR and I have traveled around that part of the country and it seems to be nothing BUT people leaving their **** in the yards for all to see. You can track a family tree from whats in the yards. washing machines, cars, campers, blah blah...

What is necessary to become a SO dealer?

I keep mine at my house in the driveway, we are "county" outside the city limits with no HOA, and no restrictions. The truck has 2 alarm systems including motion sensors (drop through the roof and you set it off right away) and if one goes off you will either meet me with one of my many high...

    MSC12 report

The reason the MSC12 feels much better is it is made in our tool box plant, the same way and out of the same parts that our boxes are made of. Its made in the good ol USA  The MSC4s are made overseas. Thats a good score for $350.00

What is necessary to become a SO dealer?

Usually the truck cant be more then 5 years old, so a 5,000 dollar truck most likely is out of the question. I dont know about SO but Matco wants a newer truck for a couple reasons, 1: they dont want you having an older, unreliable truck. You make no $$ sitting in your driveway with the ******...

    Sunex Tools?

Sockets yes, wrenches.....only in a pinch. especially on flare nut wrenches, you want to buy good ones. Thats a situation where a cheap one will spread, round out the nut on a brake line and then its a bad joo joo situation. Spend the money when it comes to flare nut wreches.

Buying a Toolbox With A Lein

Right...he is just looking to peddle it to someone that doesnt care if its hot and make a couple bucks.

Buying a Toolbox With A Lein

Its not a big deal to do it the correct way, but the seller obviously wants to pocket cash and not pay the remainder. If he wanted to do it the legal way I think he would have listed it that way in the auction and stated that right there. "I have this box for sale for payoff...blah blah blah"

Buying a Toolbox With A Lein

You said: "He admitted that he still owed money to Matco Finance; probably a bit more than the value." How is he going to pay them off if he cant sell it for what he owes?

Buying a Toolbox With A Lein

If you buy it and he quits paying on it and disappears, it will get listed as stolen. If by chance you lose a key and need a new one someday,or need to get a roller slide replaced later the serial number they track the boxes with will pull up the fact that it is stolen and your dealer will be...
