Show your Vintage Boy Scout Tools

My personal experience (mid 70's) puts those as 60's or earlier. https://www.scoutstuff4sale.com/patrol-patches-1/ This link seems to indicate values but little dating info. I'll admit it felt a little weird typing "dating Boy Scout.." into Google..

    Old Walden Worcester

As to different lighting- If you have an IR source, try that too. I had good success deciphering faded lettering on a wooden box using a CCTV camera in a darkened room.

Clamps 101 show your clamps tell stories if you wish about them especially if unique

This clamp was a massive rusty mess. No before pics because I really didn't think I'd keep it. 12 hours in a mild acid solution, rinse and lube. It's a Chicago Boiler heavy duty welding clamp.

    2022 Garage Sale Thread

E&J is a brandy but the mark is more of a makers mark. The vintage seems too early for a promotional item and doesn't fit the Dutch theme. Just my .02 Congratulations on the new grandbaby!

The Lugzsonian - A Virtual Tour

I know you said you've move on from the Colton's file brush but just to add to the conversation, you mentioned it had been "mfged by D.P. and John Wilkinson, 150 Kinzie Street, but doesn't name the city." My Google Earth search leads me to Chicago as the most likely location.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Mortise lock on the garage door needed some attention. Lock cylinder got loose, last time we broke a key. Got it tightened up. Wife needed to go to urgent care before I had the driveway blown out. Damn tractor wouldn't start, no spark. Fiddle-farted with the new-this-summer coil for an hour...
