What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Oil change on my wife's '21 Sportage. Bonus: found out the oil filters for my sons stolen Honda are substitute for the OEM. Bummer: Floor jack started losing pressure in the middle of the tire rotation. New project...

The big Mack Truck Tools thread

Here's some vintage Mack swag. Dad worked for a Chicago area company that built mining and dredging equipment and in turn, he'd take us to the trade shows at McCormick Place. My brother and I dragged home bags full of treasure including these Mack keychains.

Pros/cons of French-style "clés à pipes" socket wrenches

Bumping up an old thread- I carry these at work (bottling & packaging plant) as well as some Gearwrench combos. I like the utility of the angle wrenches, most times they are my "go-to" tool. The metrics are Facom 76 series -12pt on the short end, SAEs are 77 and they are 6pt.

Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff!

This little number has been in the shop at work for a couple years, I think someone ordered the wrong size by accident.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Put the front axle together for my 154 Lo Boy. I straightened a bent spindle this weekend and replaced the spindle bushings last week. Checked and adjusted the toe in, fixed a broken zerk and greased the whole tractor. Took it out for a test- so much better.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Replaced the front spindle bushings on my IH 154 Lo Boy. Had some help from my dad, mostly wrangling the axle on and off. Confirmed that the left spindle is bent about 1/2. Not sure if I can correct it on the press or should look for a good used one. Either way, job is half done with the axle...

I figured Stamp out the Beatles was backlash against John's "bigger than Jesus " statement. It wasn't: https://pleasuresofpasttimes.com/popt-shop/1964-1966-brian-epstein-beatles-manager-stamp-out-beatles-sweatshirt/

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Yesterday I removed the carb from my IH 154 LoBoy and cleaned it up. Today I put it in the ultrasonic cleaner for a few hours. No before pics unfortunately. Hoping to complete the rebuild sometime in the busy holiday week ahead.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Did the seasonal swap on my tractor- mower deck off, snowblower on. Then rearranged the garage to put mowing equipment in the back, snow removal in front and still be able to get work done out there. Did it.

    Gimmick Wrenches, Tools.

This guy falls into the gimmick category. Starrett 25' "Digitape". As a Starrett I'd rely on the accuracy of the tape but the digital readout feature is a little too gimmicky for me. It's still a great 25' tape measure tho.

    Gimmick Wrenches, Tools.

The pocket socket was the tool all of us junior electricians coveted at my first Coast Guard unit in the early 80s. It was a super handy tool for our tasks. It seems to me that the NSN was a dead-end when we tried to order them. It seems to me there was an amber handled example as well but with...

    Show your "Long C" Craftsman!

Regarding logos and their progression: We see them from the consumer/collector standpoint 50+ years from the original date of manufacture.
