I have quite a bunch of old Bonney stuff..My grandfather was a truck mechanic for GM in the Rochester NY area. i'm guessing 1930s 40s. ill post some pix later tonight.
i have learned a bit more...the top screw fixes the arbor. the bottom one appears to
lock the jaws down! so...you tighten it down by hand THEN crank on the bottom set screw.
I've been searching all over for info on this chuck! I can't find a thing.
Has anyone used one of these? anyone know how it works?

kind of interesting the '45 stamp...if what they is true that would make it a 1940 manufacture date! and i thought they started in '41 Hmmmmm. curious
