Thanks for the help! I hadn’t seen one like this before.

    Snap on not rebuildable?

A friend gave me this ratchet, so I don’t know much about it. It’s a snap on gf80fod. It looks like it’s riveted together. Is there any way to take it apart to service it or rebuild it? Or is it a counterfeit?

    Bottle jack worth repairing?

Good eye. I hadn’t caught that it was made in Taiwan. Think I might not waste my time then. Could probably buy a new one for what it would cost to fix this one. I had thought Hein Werner were all US made.

    Bottle jack worth repairing?

That's what I'm worried about. I don't want to dump a bunch of time in it for nothing.

    Bottle jack worth repairing?

I was given this old Hein werner bottle jack that doesn't work. Is it worth trying to rebuild and are the parts even available? I've never worked with hydraulics much other than brakes on a car. I tried adding fluid, but that didn't seem to fix anything. The part on the piston that un-screws to...

    Best floor jack pad

I recently bought a new Hein Werner 3 ton floor jack. I'm looking for a good jack pad to go in the saddle and help with lifting my wife's car by the pinch weld. I tried lifting it with just the metal saddle but I'm afraid that will lead to damage to her car. I see there are different sizes...

4-Way VS. 1/2" Breaker in your trunk tools.

Breaker bar and sockets all the way. I don't like how far away from the lug nut the "handles" are on a four way. Plus the four way takes up a lot more space.

    Impact driver info

I have the Dewalt 20V Max brushless and couldn't live without it. If I were in the market for a more affordable impact driver, I would probably look at the Rigid first. If that is above your budget then I'd recommend the Ryobi. You'll find plenty of ways to use it, so I wouldn't recommend a...

That's what I was thinking too. His value of the stand just threw me off. Thanks for the help fellas, think I'll keep on looking for now!

    Baldor grinder and pedestal value.

I've been keeping my eye out for a quality grinder and this popped up. It seems a little high to me, but I don't know what kind of value the matching pedestal adds. He's asking $350 and states it is from 1972 and the stand alone is worth $700. What say you?

Take the Lock 'n Roll strips off your SO box?

I took the lock and roll strips out of my box. It's easier to keep clean and I don't have to worry about the latch side wearing on the paint. I realize that not everyone may have those concerns though. To each their own.

That's what I figured, thanks for the help!

    Toolbox top work surface.

I think it's something similar. The scrap sheet I had was left over from the construction of a building. They use it to make bathroom stall dividers. It's supposed to be very resistant to chemicals and fairly resistant to wear and abuse.

    Snap On KRA toolbox liner

Is this stuff even worth saving? I bought Husky brand toolbox drawer liner from Home Depot that seems way better than this thin styrofoam. Should I keep the factory liner in case I want to resell of just pitch it.
