    Oldie Craftsman Drill Press

We look to have the same dp. I got mine yesterday and like my other hobbies I've dove in head first. My wife is a shrink. She says I have an obsessive disorder! If you restore it keep us updated. We can swim this channel together!

Its the motor pulley. Its not bad, and could possibly be rewelded. It appears to be 1/2 shaft? Looks like ill also need a return spring for the drill shaft, and of course the one handle that's missing. No there's no switch on the motor. And yeah i tried the switch both ways. I swear I really hate to swap the motor for a modern one. It'd be like putting a Kia motor on a classic American car. I believe I'll take the motor to the local place and see what they say. I wonder if it can be beefed up...

I appreciate the help! It appears this is a 103.23140 whatever that means. I just found a PDF book on it too. If your saying eBay and my feeble attempts to find remand parts are any clue, I guess I'm on my own.

The switch is pretty neat it's a porcelain coated dial. The belt is shot and the one pulley is broken. Does anyone make replace ment parts or is it...

His ad states that it runs well. It missing one of the arms. My goal is to restore it to daily use in my shop. What do y'all think...
