Jamb extensions done down stairs. Getting ready for the casings.

I like the flagstone idea!! The bases for the porch posts will need to be covered with something.....flagstone would be nice there too.

The main trusses are 40' wide. The ceiling height of the room above is 8'-2" and it is 18' wide.

Driveway poured. They still have some finish work to do.

Floor sealed & island cabinet finished.

Some of the concrete poured yesterday. Been out of town so I am not sure when they are going to finish the driveway.

Thanks guys. I have made several home bars using those pine tops. This piece was left over from that. It fit the owners plans for the upstairs perfectly.

Thanks Majordisorder. I don't have any pictures but there is 1/2" foil backed rigid insulation on the inside of all the frost walls.

Thanks 1/2 Cup! I don't have the actual wording handy but the local codes do require a minimum of natural lighting for living space. I will see if I can find the actual wording.

Cabinets for the kitchenette & the vanity are here. We decided to make the island cabinet so we could use a big piece of pine for the top. Hope to have the finish sprayed on it this week?

Thanks for the comments guys. The main house is about a half mile from the garage thru the woods on a four wheeler trail and about a mile on the road.

We were finally able to get the lift in but ran out of day before we could finish all the siding. Should be able to finish it in about a 1/2 day next weekend. View of the roof from the lift. Lot of roof area. Drywall should be finished this week. Electrical fixtures going in next weekend.

Didn't get a picture of the front but we did get the upstairs window in & have the siding done about 1/2 way up the window. Will finish it with the lift.
