Does anyone else make a lift like this?

From what I can tell they are actually built in a real factory by real Americans in upstate New York, here's a link to their "about us" page, http://www.mohawklifts.com/wp/company-info/about-mohawk-lifts/

Does anyone else make a lift like this?

Here's one I like but have never personally used. It's rated slightly lower at 6000lbs but it's beefy, portable and open center, and gives you the option of a full height lift if even needed. I'm sure it's more than capable of 7000lbs at 41" but that's just a guess...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Re: What did you do "IN" your garage today? Sorry, no plans, just a few rough sketches. I knew the mattress size and the room space and just tried to scale it accordingly. I tried my best to keep the proportions correct.

Whatchu talkin' bout Ipdaley? The grapple looks plenty strong enough for that Kubota. Must be talking about the JB welded muffler hanger a few posts back?

Dr. Pepper, I'm very jealous that you found someone to pay you to build something as fun (and awesome) as this! In the build pictures the rear axle has no steer, was it a necessary afterthought?

I drew my brother in law in the family gift exchange, gift has to be $20max or home made, he collects all types of weapons, switch blades, brass knuckles, and other such paraphernalia, so I made him a toy revolver,

Four Post Lift - Parking Large Trucks Underneath

Here's something to think about. All 4 post hoists that I've ever used have two heavy plate steel ramps at the drive on end that are hinged and hang down when the hoist is raised. These would need to be removed every time so you could park underneath. Something like this, Apparently some are...

Looking for a 2 post lift for small garage

I always thought one of these, flush mounted, would be ideal in a small shop scenario. No posts, full height capability. Leave your cabinets where they are on the walls http://www.mohawklifts.com/wp/automotive-lifts/scissor-lifts/usl-6000/#.VkQCmzbzN48.mailto Pretty decent accessibility too,

Above 1200 Sq/FT The Lone Beech Garage (60x46x16)

Re: The Lone Beech Garage Build Thread (60x46) Did a floor get poured in the pit? If no that could be where that earth has "settled", the ground water may have siphoned the earth under the wall?

    DUK garage

Nice shop! Well played sir. I hope it wasn't anything serious and that your wife is feeling better. Are you able to build a wall to separate the propane and compressor? Maybe put the propane tank vent on the opposite side of the shed as the compressor intake. Can you plumb the compressor intake...

Above 1200 Sq/FT Barn Workshop build

For your floor you mentioned laying down foam insulation then vapor barrier then stapling down the pex. Would tuck taping the insulation seams be more efficient than laying down vapor barrier?

    New garage build.

Looks like some great progress. Good call on insulating those walls, might as well do all four especially if you're planning radiant in floor heat. Crazy! Those must of been bad pours or possibly back filled before cured, I see no difference between filling the inside of this foundation and...

    Compressor issue

For the past month or so my trusty compressor has started to slow down and then speed up a touch before reaching shut off pressure. The compressor head and motor are not hot to the touch, oil level is fine. Could the cut off switch be failing? Sounds like the supply voltage is dropping below...

air Cut off Aircat 6505 slows and stalls

When doing precise curved or patterned cuts in thin material I prefer the variable speed easy control of my 3" air vs. my 5" electric, when cutting heavier material I'll opt for my 5" electric.
