    KRL vs. Epiq

Some ramblings... If I were choosing a KRL series box, it would be the 1033. I love the 2 full length drawers. In our Hangar there are over 100 tool boxes, many of them (40+) KRL's and KRA's. There are about 8 Epiq boxes. I ordered a new Epiq 68" to replace my 60". I chose an Epiq over the...

Great looking collection. Tell me more about your Epiq. Is it a 60" or 68", did you setup the drawers?

Reversible ratchet wrenches, expanding Snap On

It drives me nuts that Snap-On has not expanded their reversible offerings. I have the Blue Point set from 5/16-1" and 8-25mm. They have been great wrenches and I've warrantied a 7/16 and 1/2". Other than those often used sizes, no issues.

Here's a couple better pics of my 60" Epiq. I added a second handle for hanging my jacket, also all 4 wheels can caster so it makes it nice to be able to drive from either end. I push my box all over the Hangar and while it rolls easily the casters are absolute garbage. The are out of round and...

Awesome, thanks! I'm quite sure that is the first custom Epiq I've seen.

Does anyone have an Epiq that they ordered with a different drawer configuration? All I have seen online is the factory setup.

    Looking for an EDC knife

I have carried a Leatherman Wave for years at work but for an EDC I use a Kershaw 1550ST by Ken Onion. It is made in the USA, assisted opening, and a warranty. They also offer a non serrated option. Here is a fantastic deal on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F5FUA8C/?tag=atomicindus08-20

    rock n roll cab express

I ordered my second Epiq a few weeks ago from the R&R truck. We have a great dealer and both of the R&R truck salesman were good guys. The first Epiq I purchased they were offering 38% off and an extremely fair trade in for my Matco ProFormance. The second Epiq was 30% off but they gave me in...

I'm 6'1". The Epiq series is definitely tall, my favorite height box is the 1022 line. My buddy has a 7023 and he loves the height but he is also 5'7". Thanks for the comments! I took a risk buying an Epiq since no one else had one to test out, it has been a fantastic box. The sound of the...

This is my home setup. The Craftsman on the right is the box that started it all for me. The Craftsmans on the left are older friction slides mounted in a welded frame to provide a work top.

The drawer liner was included with the box, it is the best type I've used. It is fluid resistant, padded, doesn't nick easily and very grippy on both sides. The piece on top of my box has been there for 2 years and has had hot parts dropped on it, hydraulic oil, fuel and solvent spilled on it...

Here is my Matco Proformance that I traded in 2013 for a Snap-On Epiq 60". I loved the Matco but had run out of room to stay efficiently and safely organized. Size comparison of my buddies blue 1022 and my Epiq. Here are my go to drawers:
