    I was buying some shelving from a closed business and saw a compressor. It's for sale. The pump has the following numbers, 320-9-45707L, 4x2-1/2x3 and Quincy. The motor is 3hp (not 3 phase) but looks much larger. The tank is horz. and at least 80 gal. No power in the building so can't run it...

    Help me ID this air compressor

    I understand hydrostatic testing but can't see the tank exploding in general use unless there is an overpressure from pressure switch and relief valve failure. Which would be tested before that.

    The building is starting to take shape. The shed is on the left side. Covered with osb and wrap A couple interior shots. Building up minus 10x10 overhead door and floor. This was on 6/16. There will be a divider wall between shed and shop. It is open in the pic for pouring the floor.

    There are 2 sizes depending location. The larger ones are 20" dia x 10" thk. Smaller ones are 18" x 8" thk. I forgot to mention that the town building dept wanted 24" x 12" poured footers instead of the plans sizes and a dry mix. So we had to go with stamped drawings and the pills, no dry mix...

    I have read that the poly allows the concrete to slide when it shrinks during curing. This helps to prevent cracking. FWIW.
