    Anyone else like Channellocks?

Hmmmm.....channellocks are the ****. HRC test on the water pump pliers is slightly under what Knipex claims on theirs. I'm sure Irwin doesn't come close, their teeth are laughable. The CL pump pliers do not have as much adjustments as the competition, (Irwin has about double) but that's ok even...

Matco Flare Wrenches Made In China

I'm disgusted. And you wonder why they're so desperately searching for franchisees via social networking. SK. Promises that anything that has SK on it was made here, so we don't have to research where a specific tool came from, which can be a hassle since even if the COO changed on a given tool...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Right on. Same price point, same market....and now I want one of those tapes, although they cannot REPLACE my 35 foot Stanley with great standout...but I'd reach for the Stanley a whole lot less, as well as all my other tapes. I agree somewhat with the Dewalt tools but you're taking it a bit...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Exactly. Some stuff is gimmicky but for example their linesman pliers, have been put up side by side with the holy grail Klein's and the old timer doing the comparison (seemed like a completely honest review) said the fish tape puller worked easier, the side cutters cut more easily and found the...

    Let's see your Leatherman

Ha. If I were doing an essay I probably would write Leathermans, as the name shouldn't change...wait.....adding an s still changes the name....I guess the plurality is a toss up lol.

    Let's see your Leatherman

Orcas are the most fascinating animals on the planet! Their level of intelligence is in my eyes second to none. By far, my favorite animal....now in response to your comment, the leathermen that I have purchased all were purposefully selected. The different models are almost tailored to anyone...

Something wrong with my M18 fuel?

First off, a spec should never be 80ftlb. It is most often a range. (80 ftlb- 94 ftlb) Anything past the max on that range and you jeopardize overstretching that bolt. Secondly, in the auto world, a torque wrench IS the end all, there is nothing after that to determine proper "tightness".

    Anything good at Sears anymore?

They sell knipex and leatherman....the Sears closest me still has craftsman sockets MIUSA and the pro ratchets as well as pro wrenches. Their breaker bars used to be MIUSA but now they are truly junk IMO. the finish just looks like **** compared to the old MIUSA

Let's see your beloved workbench trinkets

Well I have my favorite hotwheel cars in their original packages, some Roberto Clemente memorabilia, small rock collection. Whenever I find a factory defect screw I put it up for display...(they're not as common as they used to be it seems) also have my Mac posters that help put me in a good mood.

Let's see your beloved workbench trinkets

The American Restoration show's introduction says it all. A man's workbench tells a story. Along with scattered tools and works in progress, I have a small random collection of trinkets that add to the story. Do you have such collections that share a space with your tools? If so I'd love to hear...

Something wrong with my M18 fuel?

I'm sorry for the insult that was uncalled for...as far as exaggerating you would be surprised. Tons of failures happen every day my friend, mostly due to malpractice/poor workmanship.
