Gotta give a shoutout to Northern Tool CS. I ordered a Gearwrench ratcheting wrench set to go with the big tool set. It was short one wrench. Emailed them about it Sunday night and they had a replacement on its way to me Monday morning.

And worker productivity went up WAY more than that.

Anyone know the tooth count on new Gearwrench ratcheting wrenches, both reversible and non?

The only tool truck brand anything I own happens to be a Snap On 1/4" socket/ratchet set. I use it when I'm doing things by hand, and my old 1/4" sockets get used with my Porter Cable cordless screwdriver.

Torn between the US General Pro tool cart for $160 and the 44". My buddy pointed out that a bigger cart will just give me license to go hog wild and fill it.

In my case, all Ihave interest in is automotive. I already have a small Porter Cabke cordless screwdriver. So my entire shopping list is 1) Powerful impact wrench 2) Maybe a compact impact wrench 3) Charger & batteries Kobalt makes what I need at a very reasonable price point.

Is there an easy way to disconnect the 2 halves of the case? Can I just pry the plastic hinge apart w/o destroying it? Would be nice to be able to just lay the halves in my tool cart open faced.

Could not find B&D, so used a now orphaned Craftsman drill with no battery I'd bought used for $15. Got $60 off the kit with Impact Wrench, charger, and 4.0 Ah battery. They did NOT check my ID or anything, so I may go back with a 2nd tool to get the compact Impact Wrench for $76. YMMV on...

Top of line actually just comes with one 4.0 Ah battery. Still a good deal at $190 + tax after trade in.

Did not see a stipulation that it work or that it include battery. Going to try with an old broken B&D drill. Just has to be cordless.
