    Klein Hex Keys?

I see many threads on hex key recommendations but don't see comments on Klein. I know that Klein is popular with electricians but maybe don't make it into automotive tool stores. I like that they are domestic to the USA. Has anyone had experience with their hex keys?

Stoked about my new Milwaukee Driver!

Was looking at those. Have you used it enough to know how long the battery might last? Would certainly be nice to use a lightweight for a change.

    garage expansion in NC

It would be nice to have a 4' or 5' space past the last garage door to store motorbikes, tractor, etc or even a work bench. We have only 3' and the equipment fits but there's no getting out of the vehicles or walking by very well.

Adding an attic to my garage without attic trusses

If you had any idea how much liability exposure is generated for an Engineer by offering design solutions, free or not, in these situations, you'd understand why it won't happen. You don't get something for nothing except the possibility of being involved in a law suit.

    Keeping mice out?? Help

I've tried many of the conventional methods short of poison and none worked UNTIL I tried the simplest.........just leave some lights on. Mice are nocturnal creatures and don't like the light. I just replaced 3 light bulbs with compact florescents that only draw about 15 watts each and problem...

My New Garage Plans.... Comments Please!

Garages should have 5" minimum slabs; perhaps more if you want a lift. Trench poured foundation walls???? Good luck with that. Pray that no one sends weather your way while you are prepping. Contractors here would not even pour a sonotube pier without a footing and open excavation. Why not run...

    Where to start?

I'd guess that if you are anywhere near the minimum set back distance from the property line you may be required to have a certified plot plan. Things get touchy when it could get into legal issues. The best person to ask is your local Building Inspector/Official. Basically they are god in...

    Ratcheting Wrench Magazine Review?

Thanks, it didn't cover all the wrenches I had interest in. Was hoping they might comment on Armstrong, but then again I guess that's the Craftsman plant.

I might add to try compact florescent. I believe that the 60 watt equivalents draw about 13 watts. You'd be surprised how much heat they generate.

    Ernst Wrench Grippers

J.P. Not to confuse the matter, but if you have the socket rails, do the standard ones hold the sockets tight enough for transport in all orientations?

    Ernst Wrench Grippers

Anyone have them? Are they sensitive to the wrench size ratings (largest) listed by the manufacturer or can I just buy the number of slots I need and assume that my largest wrench a few sizes over the rating will fit without hanging up on the drawer floor? I wasn't sure if the elevation of the...
