    Cast Iron Tool Stand

I have been watching this stand for about five years at my buddy's small engine shop sitting outside. They were going to mount a vise on it but decided to let me have it. I checked weather cast steel or cast iron with the spark test and it is definitely cast iron. Anyone have any idea what it...

    Early Disston Hand Saws

I agree. And I have read through the article or one similar and completed a handle years ago. But back then it was very difficult matching the wood. But this world has come a long way since then. If the weather warms up I may try again.

    Any Jointer Fans Here?

Great job. I have one of the Homecrafts with the 5 in one shop tools. I plan on rebuilding and selling it when life clears up. Were you able to save much of the motor on that one? And why did you change the table?

    60's/70's Rockwell Right-Angle Drill - Cool Chuck/Adapter

That is a gem. You will not find anything that comes close to a great drill made today. I know the new lighter plastic drills are nice and light but will never last another 50 years. I bet I have gone through 3 DeWalt drills in the past 20 years. Great find. I know I am not telling you...

New collection: a taxonomy of hammers

This is a interesting hammer. I found it at the scrap yard for 50 cents. I thought at first it was homemade but as further review it had a pure rubber handle, and the head is removable with threads. It weighs 1.3 pounds, and I assume you can place a small weight in the head to have a true...
