    Ordered a Milwaukee Jack

Not sure what the difference in price is between the 2-ton I got and the 4-ton. I went with the 2-ton because, well, I don't have anything and don't expect to have anything that big. And at $414 for the 2-ton; it's expensive enough!

    Ordered a Milwaukee Jack

Yup - I took the plunge today and ordered a Model 20 to replace my Craftsmanchicom. It's been a good jack, but lately it's been real finnicky when lowering the load. Mine is an old truck, but I still don't like dropping it onto the jackstands! Not wanting to put any more money into China's...

Need an industrial strength TORX bit

Just a quick update: I got the hand impact driver from Sears when I exchanged my broken bit. Gave it a few whacks & the bolt didn't budge. Not wanting to destroy another Sears bit; I've asked my neighbor to buy me a SO impact bit when the truck comes to his job this Friday. Then I'll get...

What's a good way to tell the difference? As far as I can tell, it's a standard TORX and the abuse I've given it so far hasn't damaged the recess....

Need an industrial strength TORX bit *it's out!* OK...so here's the project: I want to remove the carpet from my S10 to give it a good scrubbing and get out the salt moguls that have accumulated from 10 years of winter driving. To get there, I need to remove the seats and there's a T50 bolt...

    Question about Framing Nailers

I have a Hitachi full head framer....I've used it for framing & sheathing a couple of sheds I've built....no complaints....

I'm thinking of buying a roofing nail gun.....

If this is your first air nailer; consider a framing nailer before the roofing....I bought a Hitachi and it's building my second shed right now.....beauty is I've used it for both framing and sheathing...without it, my arm would've fallen off before I ever got to the shingles....
