    Adding Sand for Non-Skid

    Got a friend that wants his basement steps painted and wants them 100% non-skid, has anyone ever just mixed sand with the paint? If so and it works, how much sand per qt is recommended? The steps are wood.

    Ceiling Fan on a 3-Way

    Need some good advice. Got an upstairs porch light that is on a 3-way switch, one switch upstairs and one downstairs. I want to replace the light with a ceiling fan, but on the hot days I want the fan to be continuosly run. Another words stay hot while the light can be operated by the switches...

    How old is the fixture?

    The was dug up by a metal detectorist:) and he said it was a foot down. It still had the socket in place but I removed it when I cleaned it up and gave it a paint job. I can't find a pic of one anywhere, so does anyone have any idea of its age or possibly who made them?

    Got these 2 monkey wrenchs for $5 a piece, the Coes is an 18" and the Lakeside is a 14". The 10" adjustable is a Herbrand but I couldn't find a single one on ebay, just looking for approx. value of it, paid $2.

    Using attic heat for wtr htr feed.

    Has anyone ever tried any method similar to this blurry drawing (sorry). In the attic would be 2 coils of 3/4" pipe of some kind and they would need to stay coiled for winterizing purposes. Plus there would be a condensation pan of some sort too. Where the 2 coils connect would be at a 45*...
