So incompetence is an excuse not to do their job? If they can't properly install the opener they should not have taken them down. Or, they should pay to have them put back up right.

I'm guessing these guys went out of business? I remember using one of their 16" Fast Framers when we built my Grandparents camp in the late 90's. Don't remember them being that bad of a tool. I just happened to think of it as I'm planning my build and tried to find one. Can't seem to locate one...

Straight up doors are used all the time in warehouses. Check out just about any shipping depot.

Thanks. This just works better with the placement. It will run lengthwise directly behind my house, putting the driveway parallel to the peak. So, when you come up the drive you would turn left into the garage. I want to save the area straight off the end of the driveway for the 24x32 Pole barn...

I gotta admit, I've pretty much copied everything from your build, drew it up in SketchUp and am submitting it for a permit. Only thing I've changed is instead of the single door on the end I'm putting 2 10x9 doors on the side and a man door on the Gable end.

Some people use roofing felt but I don't think it's required.

Looking to build my pole barn soon so I have a quick question. Why do people put down the gravel before drilling holes for the posts. I would think you would loose a lot of the gravel from mixing with the drilled dirt. Wouldn't it be better to drill and set the posts first then put down the...
