Question for the HVAC Pro's here,

That stuff is WAYY overpriced when buying off a shelf. Diesel here is about $4.50/gal, the cheapest I could find Fuel Oil was $4.19/gal. Just drove to a local gas station and filled 2 55gal. plastic drums with Kero for $3.84/gal.

Question for the HVAC Pro's here,

Ok, just to clarify, the tractors I was referring to were the ones I grew up with on the farm. Long before any of this low-sulfur diesels and newer injection pumps. I wouldn't put straight kero in my tractor or truck now. Except to cut the diesel when it starts waxing. But even then it's less...

Question for the HVAC Pro's here,

Thanks. I was always told Kero will run hotter than Diesel in a tractor so I figured it had more BTU's. Go figure. Where on Chaumont Bay are you? I grew up in Three Mile Bay. Live downstate now, work in Albany.

Question for the HVAC Pro's here,

Believe it or not, I can get Kerosene locally cheaper than I can get fuel oil. So, needless to say, I just dumped 100gal of Kero into my tank. The question I have is: Do I need to change the nozzle in the boiler to run Kerosene instead of fuel oil? The boiler currently has a .85 80*B...

    Pay attention guys!!!

My daughter ate one when she was 2. Wife said her breath was the worst thing ever. We had them pretty bad when I was stationed in NJ. Now back in NY they're pretty scarce, for now anyway. I still see a few every now and then.

Homeline Tandem Breakers - They do not seem to fit right

If it's not designed for 40 circuits in 30 slots tandems will not fit. Usually the bottom 5 slots will have a cut out on them to accept the different breakers. Everywhere I can find it the HOMC30UC only shows it as a 30 circuit panel, tandems may not work.

    My shop/barn build thread

I was gonna ask the same thing. I plan to do most of my build myself but this part would scare the **** outta me. That and adding anything else (interior walls,. etc.) and having to lag it to the floor. By the way, awesome garage.

How would you lay out gutters on this roofline?

Heated concrete slab sloped away from the building? Place I used to work installed heated sidewalks at the corporate building. Never had to shovel them again..
