    pawnshop #3, usa craftsman screwdrivers

Nice screwdrivers but keep an eye on Sears for ones like that as well. Usually if they are on sale they usually end up close to $1 a piece brand new and they are still USA made. I'd say a fair price at the pawn store. Any other tools of interest when you were there? Wrenches, Ratchets...

You are going to need a rather big garage when you move out. You've quadrupled your tools just during this thread! lol Great start! Good times!

What kind of tool box is this????

Major suckage has been awarded to you. Nice old CMan boxes as well. That first box defnitely looks like MAC. I just scored and Old MAC roller this weekend. Spent some hours cleaning it up and I'm really glad I have it now. I'm loving the older boxes the more I use them.

Part For Vintage Snap On Toolbox

Thanks for the response. Link just went to a web page but didn't have anything related to this on it. The flat stock part wont be too bad. I just have to figure out what the spring mechanism needs to be.

Part For Vintage Snap On Toolbox

I'm looking for the pieces that would hold the front plate on when the top lid is shut. Here are two pictures the close up show the open slot that is missing the piece that would be forced down to grab the front plate when the top is closed and hold it in place. Is this a common part from Snap...

    Comparing wrench prices.

I'm definitely saving up for a flank drive set of metrics from snap on. I was able to pick up about a ten year old set of Matco metric wrenches from 10-19mm for $75 off CL. Wasn't a steel per say but a nice set at a price I could afford. Definitely had to scour CL to find them but my morning...

First Estate Sale & MAC Toolbox Purchase

Yes there is a middle box with it. It has a great top on it that I think I'm going to use to work off of. I occasionally do some carburetor work on bikes and I think this will be perfect. Yes I'm the one that go the 537 top and bottom at a really good price. i also just picked up a side...

First Estate Sale & MAC Toolbox Purchase

Very cool. I guess you never know what you are going to find. I have occasionally needed to make a gasket hole and used to just use a punch and keep manipulating it to the right size. These may come in handy.

First Estate Sale & MAC Toolbox Purchase

Well I've bought quite a bit of stuff over the years from Craigslist with good success and most recently found a local pawn shop as well. After reading all of the good estate and yard sales finds I figured it was time to go to one myself. The one I went too this morning was advertised as an...

    Evaporust on clearance at Lowes

I don't blame you! If you don't find the Evaporust fast and get back out to your car it may be Evapocar! lol Also I see people can't find it in paint section. Check out the plumbing sections as well! That's where the whole stash was for me. :rocker:

    Evaporust on clearance at Lowes

I picked up 15 at $1.22 per quart in Avondale, PA. Found them all in plumbing. Nobody knew where they were. Had to show them on the Lowes App for IPhone that they were in the store somewhere!:bowdown:
