I see,now. Have two of these. One didn't do it as often as the other, so I though it was worn. However, the one that does spin way more has a pawl that is broke. I don't work on lossing side very well. So I could still use a kit.

Hopefully, new SK isn't full of it and I can warranty these for free in March. We'll see.

how well does your selector work? I bought couple used 45170 and noticed that when i go to switch the direction, it has a tendency to just spin the whole assembly until the pawl engages on a tooth. that way i think it needs rebuild?
