What do you guys think of 1/2” steel plate with stainless sheet glued to it? It will be pricey but solid

    Workbench top suggestions

I know it’s been done before and I used the search function and now my head is spinning. I built a 2 box Steev-O style 39” high workbench bench with space for a stool between the 2 boxes. I’m looking for a 9 foot by 32 inch bench top. My original plan was to use a 5/8” steel plate for a top...

Can someone with a Harbor Freight 44" series one box measure the wheels for me?

My series 2 boxes came with wheels that are 6 1/2" in height from the floor to the top mounting plate where it mounts to the box. The wheels are 5" in diameter and the wheel is 1 3/4" wide. The hubs are shiny cast steel. Can someone please provide me with the same measurements for a 44"...

HF Toolboxes Workbench - Phase 3

Thanks Paranoid. I sent you an IM. The wheels I have/need are 6 1/2" tall from the floor to the top bracket. The wheel itself has a 5" diameter and is 1 3/4" wide. They look just like the ones on page 19 of this thread. Thanks Steven

HF Toolboxes Workbench - Phase 3

I’m almost done with my Steevo bench build and I’ve decided to repurpose my wheel castors to make some heavy duty Edsal vault cabinets mobile - but I need two more sets. Does Harbor Freight sell the same wheels that came on the bottom of my US General chests? (I used the series 2 44” bottom...

    NewAge Cabinets reviews and tips

Not really, the bold 2 door base cabinets are only 16” deep, my workbench is 32” deep with a 9’ ceiling. So would the bold 2 door base cabinets work screwed into a wall upside down?

Can someone with a New Age Bold (not Pro) base cabinet check something for me?

Hi guys. I’m trying to find some red steel wall cabinets to hang over my workbench. I only have 106 maybe 108 inches in length and a 9 foot ceiling. I know the Pro Cabinets are a heavier guage and I would rather use them, but they are 28” wide and that will put me over 108” with 4 cabinets...

    NewAge Cabinets reviews and tips

My other thought was to get myself a tall wall cabinet in red was to use a Pro 3.0 Series Base Cabinet flipped upside down (so I can reach the lock) with no legs on it of course. Do you see any issues other than the cabinet being a bit too deep for a wall cabinet? If the shelves use those...

#26 Key needed for US General Tool Chests

Ok I got the keys out. I managed to get the smaller side, bottom most drawer open and reached all the way back and unlocked each drawer one at a time on my way up. The left side and topmost long drawer didn't open but then I flipped the box on its back and upside down on moving blankets...

#26 Key needed for US General Tool Chests

I don’t know if the old ones (series 1) do it but on the newer series 2 boxes if you lock the cylinder with the key and then push the drawer shut, it locks the drawer. I have never locked the box before so I didn’t know it did that. I left all the keys in the top drawer since I never had any...

#26 Key needed for US General Tool Chests

So last night my boys were playing in my shop and locked my harbor freight tool chests ( I never lock them). I had no idea they did it and pushed the drawer shut with my keys and wallet in the top drawer. I called Harbor Freight this morning and after an hour on hold they told me they can...

    Bend Pak pricing

Hi, does anyone have any suggestions on who to buy a bendpak hd9-stx from? Pricing seems to be pretty much the same everywhere. Also, what did you guys pay to have it installed? I’m getting prices of $1250 and up for them to accept delivery and do the install. Doesnt that seem a Little...
