I've had better bargains than this but it looks like a value too good to miss so I'm probably going to get it. Finding the place to bolt it down to is the next problem.

You are right. Which is why I said 'one of those'. The condition of the one I'm thinking of buying is much better as it has had very little use over the years. The jaws and the vise itself are about 8 out of 10.

Can anyone share their opinion on Chas Parker vises? I came across one, 6" and in good overall condition. I already have a vise but at $30 I might get it. Or shall I wait for something better? Parker is a 6 hours return journey. Thanks.
