My walls will be about 18" high. However, I did not spec brick forms for the inside wall. Like your look with the brick.

For me it more of a temporary heat when I am in there. I realize there the insulation is not as effective when you are only heating when needed. But, since I am going to R21 in the walls, I feel bad that I can not account for the lost due to the concrete...:mad:

When pouring foundation walls, should there be a wall under the garage entrance? The contractor I am using says its not necessary since the slab and entrance curb sits on packed soil and stone?

Well they can overlap a little. So the rear of one can be on top of the front of another car. I want to be able to get in and out of the car on the floor easily without worrying about banging the doors on the lift.

My garage is only 18' wide so it will need to be much closer than that.
