Those pancake compressors that come in the nail gun kits are going to be anything but quiet though. If you decide to go for a cordless impact instead and want a compressor to go with the nailers, I've been happy with my Makita big bore compressor. Much quieter than the kit compressors.

I hear ya! It's not rocket science and most people can do it all, but it's a crappy job. The pros are just so must faster and better at doing it. Plus they can do things like the crowfoot texture ceiling that I don't care to learn how to do. lol My guys even primed it cheaply.

When I did mine I hired out the drywall finishing. It's such a crappy, messy job that I felt it was money well spent.

I too went with a Festool RO sander because of the dust collection. It really does do an amazing job. I use a Nilfisk Attix vac with it because I got a great deal on it and feel it is a superior vac. One thing pretty cool about it is that it has auto on/off for both power and air tools.

Most of my projects so far have been on fractional horse Delta motors, but I do have a few other brands and bigger sizes in the queue.

Aren't the old ones just so much cooler? Hope you do a thread on that one too. I should post some of my rehab projects on here.

Nice! I've been eyeing the Greenworks version on Amazon. I've read that it's best to do in the fall. Have you had any ill effects doing it in the spring or noticed that your lawn reacted differently to it than in the fall?
