Wright impact socket score 1/2" Deep well

Wright almost never comes up for sale around here and phoenix valley is huge, so if they do its like 40 miles away usually. These popped up for $20 and 2 miles away the other day. Didn't have a brand listed in the ad. Of the biggest 3, 1 is Proto and 1 Snap-on but I ain't complaining. Only 2...

First trip to Harbor Freight in a couple years, surprised at some price increases

Not a bashing thread, just surprised at some of the prices. 8" bench grinder $199.99 Multipurpose vise $199.99 (****** copy of Yost and actually more expensive too) Doyle vise pushing $300 after tax. Would NOT compare it to Wilton Tradesman like some do on here. Wilton import mechanic...

    1940's Craftsman Toolbox repaint

I've been thinning out my collection of vintage boxes this year. I've refurbished and repainted tons of vises but always stayed away from doing boxes in part because of how much space it takes up. This box has an old primer job on it. It's nice, smooth stuff, but shows wear, markings. Etc...

Painting metal workbench with a roller--get it looking good enough for the living room?

I've got these two cool retro style Shure benches. One also has sliding doors. We've all seen the cool.lubesters and gas pumps done up with paint and decals of yesteryear right? My favorite is the gloss black and green of Polly gas. With a roller do you think I could get this looking good...

    Whirlpool washing machine question--motor type?

Started leaking water. Schedule appointment with plumber via home warranty plan, over a week out. Dispatcher had me looking for a name that it doesn't say anywhere on this machine so she could know what type it was. Whirlpool product lines I imagine, forgot the terms. Anyway, she said they...
