I am not worried about flexing much. The tank and pump head are mounted on a rigid frame. I am still going to rotate the tank valve more to 6 o’clock so i can drain it after every use.

I am wondering how other compressors do this today? I tried the o ring but used imperial sizing… and The O RING didnt fit too fat impossible to fit without it rolling and deforming. . Perhaps a metric size assortment of o rings would have the right size.

It doesn’t seem to be as I have demonstrated……………… 3/8” tap=24/64” The HOLE is 33/64” The fitting is 43/64” Someone else may be able see this through. Thanks!

Here is where i fail to understand. The opening is 33/64”. the 3/8” tap is 24/64” the brass fitting is 43/64”, this doesn‘t makes sense to me.
