I think you did the right thing, sometimes it hurts to see you nice tools getting used as hammers but at the end of the day, a good neighbor beats nice tools every time.

sweet, that is just what i am looking for! I have learned I like the detent ball style the best . I really wanted them all on one tray as I like to grab the whole set at once and put it into the pickup when I go on service calls.

When I called strictly toolboxes a few weeks ago about a box I was interested in, the salesman said they were getting some 24 inch extremes in. Is this box new or used? It could be one of the first 24 inch ones.

Ratchet is bent so that means the gear head is strong and I feel sk is one of the best brands out there. I would think its worth 80 easy. You can buy a China set for less,but then that's what you have, a China set.

Got back from menards last sat and saw the they have Crecent combination wrenches, sad to see they are made in Taiwan. I still may be buying their large wrenches, they had the 1 3/8 - 2'' for about $20 a piece. They have to be better than the no name ones I have. I need to wear gloves with them...

Thanks for all the advice earlier about my tool box choice options. I ruled out the medium duty ones because I don't want to do its again in 10 years, so really the choice came between the Extreme professional with the 30 inch drawers and the Matco 5s with 28 inch drawers. I was flip flopping...

Matco is stopping by wed and going to see what he can do for price. I checked out the mf and while it is really good ,the matco is built tons heavier but it also shows with over double the cost. Now it's between the heavy duty ones on strictly toolboxes and matco . I'll see if he can close the...

Ya no matter what the wife says, I hate payments. Thanks for the link to the extreme pro, That thing is built like a tank! It is about a grand cheaper than Matco and it comes with a stainless top. This is not helping my flip flopping!
